The man accused of sparking the deadly 2025 Palisades Fire in Los Angeles will walk free after the jury was unable to agree on a verdict. Jonathan Rinderknecht, 30, was tried on three federal charges: arson, malicious destruction by means of a fire and timber set aflame. But the judge ruled a mistrial in his case on Friday morning after jurors deliberated for 13 hours over the course of two days and concluded that they could not produce a unanimous verdict. #palisadesfire #crime
