The mystery of Jack the Ripper, one of history’s most infamous serial killers who killed five women in London between 1888 - 1891, has been finally solved as after 137 years as his true identity is revealed. Using a shawl bought at auction in 2007, found at the murder scene of Catherine Eddowes, Russell Edwards, a historian and true crime fan has identified a 100% DNA match for infamous killer - Jack the Ripper. Edwards, who previously had his suspicions, has now confirmed that the murderer was a man named Aaron Kosminski, saying “Oh, without a doubt, 100% it’s him." Kosminski was a Polish immigrant who worked as a barber. He was 23 when he went on his killing spree and was actually a suspect at one point during the investigation. He eventually died in a mental institute in 1919. #crime #murder #victim #crimetok #serialkiller #jacktheripper #london
