Reviewing films watched at tiff 2026 @tiff_net Directed by: Javier Calvo, Javier Ambrossi Release date: November 6, 2026 Across three eras, the intertwined lives of three men are bound by shared experiences of desire, sexuality, enduring pain and the lasting weight of their complex legacies. La Bola Nega was one of the most beautifully heartbreaking cinema experiences I’ve had in a long time. I was so deeply moved by the film and its imagery and meaning hasn’t quite left me since. I expect to see this film sweep at the @theacademy and I will be betting on surprising a lot of us! Will you be watching this film? #labolanegra #tiff2026 #filmreview #whattowatch @Netflix @NetflixUK
