Film Probe Conversations: Kane Parsons Director of Backrooms (2026) A strange doorway appears in the basement of a furniture showroom. #backroomsmovie I had the opportunity to chat with Kane Parsons, director of the brand new A24 surreal liminal space horror, backrooms. This was my first junket opportunity and I was nervous to say the least but absolutely ecstatic to chat with Kane and get a little more insight in his debut feature film. Kane’s journey as a director and filmmaker is pretty astonishing and it was a pleasure to speak with him about colour palette, performances and his favourite A24 films. After watching the film, I couldn’t wait to meet Kane and tell him how much of a fan I am of his youtube series and now I can say with confidence, the backrooms film lives up to the hype. Film Probe review out on May 27. Thank you so much to @A24 for giving me this amazing chance to chat with Kane and thank you for watching! Go watch Backrooms in cinemas May 29. #WhatToWatch #Film...
