How one of the most dramatic moments in American history would’ve looked… if it were filmed like a reality TV show. 😳 In March 1783, tensions were rising at New Windsor Cantonment as Continental Army officers grew frustrated over unpaid wages and broken promises after years of fighting in the Revolutionary War. What became known as the Newburgh Conspiracy threatened the fragile future of the young nation… until George Washington stepped in and helped calm the crisis with a powerful address that changed the course of history. And yes… all of it happened right here in Orange County. 🇺🇸 How many of you knew this story before today? Also, which version of this reel came up on your feed?
