Lil gratitude post!
It's almost been two years since I've started this journey of mine to the Olympics. Last week was my first ever time attending a NCAA D1 track and field meet, and it was the championship. I got to see amazing runners, the fastest of the fast and future Olympians walking amongst present Olympians. It was my first time ever being in a stadium as big as UT Austin's, and it was my first time ever being in a football stadium period. It's still a little hard to process, but I checked off a lot of firsts last week and its only gotten me excited for what the future has in store for me.
I like to think that I did it all on my own, but the truth is I wouldn't be here without all the people who vouched for me, supported me, helped me, became my co-worker, or now longtime friend. So again, thank you everyone who's ever believed in me and everyone who's always had my back. Everyday I make new friends and am more grateful for the opportunities that life has to offer me.
