Brutally Honest Review of @The Farmer’s Dog Pawsitives: Luna has never turned down a farmer’s dog meal. She eats it quicker than blue buffalo. After 2 years, Luna wouldn’t eat blue buffalo any more. She would skip meals and was losing energy. Luckily she eats all of TFD meals and has actually become more active. Our vet actually recommended TFD. Just with slight adjustments. And Luna is passing her food consistently - it looks healthier too. Firm and consistent. The trial pricing was amazing and allowed us to test out if Luna liked TFD. Negatives: Price. While I don’t mind paying a premium, the price to serving ratio is too high and there are more alternatives that would work best. Like making her meals at home in bulk - or combining TFD with dry kibble. Additionally, every dog has different nutritional needs. Of course it’s never a one size fits all - but we do add more supplements to Luna’s PM food to keep her on plan. #honestreview #thefarmersdog #dogfood #furbabylove #dogow...
