The bioluminescence is back and more magical than ever. 🌊 πŸ§œβ€β™‚οΈ These brilliant blue waves are a result of agitated dinoflagellates emitting a neon blue light. This occurs during a large bloom of dinoflagellates which turns the ocean a reddish-brown color, hence the term β€˜red tide’. (via scripps_ocean) These clips were captured by erikjepsen at Mission Beach on February 27th at 1:30 am. Want to learn more about this natural phenomenon? Visit the link in our bio!
