The latest buzz? 🐝 UC San Diego recently joined Bee Campus USA – a cool program supporting bees, native plants, and reducing pesticide use! 🌼 These photos were taken at the Bonner Butterfly Garden, next to Bonner Hall, which protects the native pollinators with the native plants it provides. The garden was created by Dr. Perry and is managed by a student in his lab, Zoie Andre. Leaders of the Bee Campus are pollinatorsatucsandiego along with various faculty. 👩‍🌾 Visit the link in our bio to dive into a fun Q&A with James Nieh, a bee expert and professor in the Department of Ecology, Behavior and Evolution, to learn more about the importance of this designation. #UCSD #UCSanDiego #BeeCampusUSA #BeeCampus
