Hooray! A little Penguin Parade for Penguin Awareness Day 🐧💙 Little Blue Penguins are known for their adorably awkward waddling and speedy swimming skills. Since they call both land and sea home, penguins play an important role in measuring the overall health of our ocean. By paying attention to penguins, we can better understand and address some of the challenges that come with living in an ever-changing environment. Beyster Family Little Blue Penguins opens this summer at birchaquarium at Scripps! Birch Aquarium is excited to have the opportunity to connect you with these charismatic creatures, shed light on the survival challenges all seabird species face in the wild, and inspire YOU to learn how to aid in conservation efforts. Birch Aquarium is so thankful for our incredible community and generous donors for their continued support — you can learn more about opportunities to support our Little Blues’ at: aquarium.ucsd.edu/penguins #penguinawarenessday #penguinawareness #nati...
