#neworleans #weather #heat #health #summer #louisiana #mississippi #weatheralert Temperatures are climbing in southeast Louisiana, with heat indices expected to reach more than 110 degrees at the beginning of the work week. A Heat Advisory is in effect Monday, followed by an Extreme Heat Watch for much of Tuesday. Forecasters warn that high temperatures could increase the risk of heat-related illnesses. Residents are urged to drink plenty of water, stay in the shade, and take frequent breaks if they are working outside.
