Helen Hill was a filmmaker, artist, mother, and beloved member of New Orleans' creative community. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the city, Helen and her husband, Dr. Paul Gailiunas, returned to help rebuild. They were raising their young son and creating a new life together in the Bywater neighborhood. But just months after moving back, Helen was killed during a home invasion that shocked New Orleans and made national headlines. For years, WWL investigative reporter Katie Moore has worked with Helen's family to gain access to the case files, examine the investigation, and search for answers in one of the city's most high-profile unsolved murders. What happened to Helen Hill? What went wrong in the investigation? And can her killer still be found? Watch the full documentary streaming June 15 on WWL.
