A viral video from Austin shows a man threatening a 14-year-old boy while he was fishing at Sullivan Park near Onion Creek. In the clip, the man can be heard saying: “I’m gonna punch your lights out so hard you knock yourself out and I’m gonna drown you.” The boy’s mother, Victoria Retana, posted the video online, drawing outrage and calls for accountability. Texas Parks and Wildlife confirmed minors under 17 can fish without a license. Austin Police determined the incident meets the definition of assault by threat (Class C misdemeanor), but not a terroristic threat. The county attorney’s office says the case remains under investigation. wwltv.com/article/news/nation-world/mom-seeks-accountability-after-viral-video-shows-son-threatened-over-fishing/507-06970670-3cc4-4d50-b594-a5903e02b567 #Austin #ViralVideo #Fishing #KVUE #TexasNews
