These faces are the faces of people who have been forcibly displaced. Artist Es Devlin’s FACE to FACE: 50 Encounters with Strangers shares the stories of 50 people who fled their homes and now call London their sanctuary through portraits. These portraits feature individuals from 25 countries, including @Maya Ghazal, a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador from Syria, who rebuilt her life from scratch and is now training to be a commercial pilot; and JJ Bola, a poet and mental health social worker from DR Congo, who fled with his family as a child and now advocates for refugees.
