Today we stumbled upon a traditional Baba Nyonya/Peranakan house that was turned into a mini-museum. If you’ve been to one of our #Flowerlounge events, you’ve seen that we all wear these elegant Batik wrap-around longi skirts adorned with delicate floral designs such as the peonies, roses, morning glories, orchids and chrysanthemums! This shelf was full of vintage, original Batik designs - each piece over $300/$400! The mother load! We almost had ourselves talked into buying our favorite design ... until they told us this private collection wasn’t for sale. 😜 Regardless, we left with tons of design/pattern inspiration for our future clothing line! 💃🏻
