When we were in Iceland, we trekked from the northernmost to the southernmost tip of the arctic island. We made our way to a hot springs that looked idyllic + deserted in all the photos. But when we arrived, we were overwhelmed + taken aback by all the unexpected tourists. We walked up the river a distance, climbing over craggy rocks, and hopping over streams back up into the canyon where there were no people.
