Did you know that some will experience nose swelling and changes to its shape during pregnancy.
Although attributed to hormonal changes while pregnant, know that experiences may vary as everyone’s hormone levels are different and everyone responds differently to changes in them.
The change may also be more noticeable for some women when compared to others.
This change although confusing and sometimes uncomfortable, is nothing to worry about and is only temporary, typically resolving a few weeks after birth.
The hormonal changes experienced may also cause other symptoms like a runny and stuffy nose and even nosebleeds in some pregnant individuals.
Although the swelling is relatively harmless, if you notice a significant or rapid swelling involved in the face, hands, and feet, especially in combination with other symptoms, or it with any concerns, let your doctor know.
