I believe that he genuinely doesn’t use condoms, an opinion that is also shared by other young men and women while being sexually active, which is actually dangerous, with possible far reaching consequences. Condoms are highly effective against multiple sexually transmitted infections ranging from HIV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, trichomoniasis. They are also effective against unintended pregnancy. Condoms use is also associated with a lower rate of cervical cancer, an HPV-associated disease. It is vital that sexually active youth have access to and are educated about condom use to protect their health and their lives. Let’s leave high risk behaviors like this in the past. There should be no place for this mindset.
