Cold sores, also known as fever blisters and Herpes labialis, are very common. When they occur, usually appear as groups of blisters in patches. And once they pop, they can form scabs lasting several days. These spread by close contact such as k1ss1ng and are caused by HSV-1 and less commonly by HSV-2. They can be contagious even if you don’t see the sores. 🩺There is currently no cure for cold sores but there are treatment options to help deal with outbreaks. ✨LIKE, COMMENT and SHARE with someone who would benefit from this 👆🏿 ✨Follow me thewhizdoc to see new exciting family + sexual + reproductive health tips, and educational content” ✨Comment down below if you have any questions ✨DISCLAIMER: Statements reflect my own personal opinions, not those of my employer, past or present, or any other organization with which I may be affiliated.⁣. . . #coldsore #herpes #std #hsv2 #hsv1
