Meet 31-Day Challenge Champion, Tara! She was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis and by 13, she required spinal fusion surgery. Six months later, she was back on the basketball court but unfortunately over time, Tara experienced pain. She came back to CHOP and doctors were able to remove rods and screws in 2020 and she's been pain-free ever since! When thinking about her experience at CHOP, Tara mentions that "CHOP is the reason that I've gotten to where I am today and achieved every dream that I've had along the way."
