We're continuing to recognize our amazing Child Life Staff this month! Meet Michal Warchol, our Patient Media Studio and Electronics Technician, who oversees the daily operations in our Secreast Studios. He makes sure all the live programming on Galaxy 51 runs smoothly and works with our community partners and Child Life staff to organize and run studio events and patient projects. Michal says "as a child I always struggled to express myself creatively so it’s a dream come true to be able to provide children with the tools to let their creativity run wild while also teaching them real media skills in an actual full-fledged production studio. Going hand in hand with that, I love that we’re able to give children a fun and safe place where they’re able to forget about whatever challenges they may be facing while creating fun and lasting memories with their families." #ChildLifeMonth
