Meet #CHOPWalkforHope ambassador, Caley! At 18 months old, she accompanied her family to an appointment where the doctor realized that Caley looked unwell. This encounter was the catalyst for two years full of symptoms, tests, and treatments to find a diagnosis. It wasn’t until Caley was spending time with a relative, who happened to be a gastroenterologist at CHOP, that she found out about CHOP’s Very Early Onset (VEO) IBD Program. She began treatment in 2020 and now Caley is 5 years old, loves all things swimming and karate, and will be participating at the #CHOPWalkforHope!
