We'd like to introduce you to one of our Advanced Child Life Specialists, Kristen, as we continue to celebrate #ChildLifeMonth! Kristen supports our patients and their families on the 4th floor of our King of Prussia Hospital, the Middleman Family Pavilion. She helps normalize the hospital environment for our patients through play and fun activities, and also offers them opportunities to be creative and practice self-expression as an outlet to cope and process their experience. Kristen says she enjoys helping families "mitigate their stress while also emphasizing how brave and resilient the patients and families are for overcoming their challenges." She works closely with 12 other Child Life Specialists and Creative Arts Therapists along with the clinical staff to help provide the best possible care for each family. #CHOPChildLife
