Our patient Liam is on the road to recovery! He was our first orthopaedics patient to undergo surgery at the Middleman Family Pavilion, our new hospital in King of Prussia! His surgeon, Dr. Theodore Ganley, Director of our Sports Medicine and Performance Center, repaired Liam's ACL on Jan. 26, which was the opening day of the Middleman Pavilion.
Liam's mom Jennifer said "to be able to do surgery so close to home is such a gift." While the family is bracing themselves for a long road to recovery, including 9-12 months without sports, they are confident that Liam is receiving the best possible care. Liam's follow-up care and physical therapy appointments will conveniently take place on our King of Prussia campus. #CHOPinKOP
