During my stay, I was introduced to pickleball. There were several courts full of people playing this game of which I wasn't familiar. Although my friend had only recently started playing, he mentioned the many friendships he had already formed with other pickleballers & that he was on the courts 3 or 4 times a week. Soon I realized that no matter when I walked by the courts there was always a pickleball match in play. That's when the wheels really started turning. Three things struck me: 1. The courts were always full with other players waiting. 2. They were full of energy & genuine camaraderie. 3. I learned the game in a few hours & was enjoying it.
