A group of MontclairSCM montclairnewslab students, faculty and staff traveled to Puerto Rico last Spring Break, working 10 to 14 hours a day, intently focusing on documenting the island's recovery from #HurricaneMaria, which had ravaged the island six months earlier. At the time, students hardly imagined that their project, TV special "Montclair News Lab: Hurricane Recovery Mission to Puerto Rico," would be nationally recognized with a Television Academy Foundation 39th College Television Award nomination for best in the News category. Congratulations! We will keep our fingers crossed for your win in March! #collegeTVawards Link to story in bio.
