Sometimes, embracing yourself as an individual and truly getting to know who you are can be quite a journey. Growing up, I always seemed to single myself out from the crowd. And yet, not belonging to any cliques, while attending high school, allowed me to pave my own way and find my own comfort zone. During this wonderful self-discovery, I learned a lot about who I was. In this time, I picked up values and philosophies that I didn't know would eventually lead me to become the person that I am today. Although being an active leader within our communities comes with a price, my positions on-campus have only helped me on my road to make an impact on the world. We all have a greatness within us. It just takes a remarkable journey and some encouragement from our loved ones to truly push us to our greatest potential. ” #RHOMS #RedHawkPride #TheJourn...
