As I mentioned in my last video, Rehabbing from an injury and staying healthy after that requires focusing on activating and re-training muscles in the body to perform how they’re supposed and activating the surrounding areas to improve stability and avoid over-compensation the best you can. Strengthening stability in my legs and core after tearing my adductor is a daily focus on mine and my coach.
Here are 3 exercises that we include in my trainining to activate, STABILIZE, and strengthen my glutes and core stabilizers:
💥Suitcase Carries/ 💥Suitcase Marches
💥Negative Step-Downs/ 💥 Banded Negative Step-Downs
💥 Banded Adductions (aka lateral step-outs)
Have you ever used any of these exercises?? Drop a comment ⬇️
There are many exercises you can use to train stability and strength for the adductors, glutes, and rotators around your adductors. These are just a few of the ones that my body anatomically responded well too. Try them out!
