The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky is a place that belongs to the people—that's why they wanted to bring a sensory garden to their community. With the Anna I. Snyder Sensory Garden grant, The Arboretum is collaborating with GreenHouse17 to create an area that will serve as a place of rest and contemplation for Arboretum guests and members of the GreenHouse17 community.
Not only will this inclusive garden bring new opportunities, but it also plans to bring community awareness to the lives and experiences of individuals living with and experiencing domestic violence or intimate partner abuse.
By donating to the Anna I. Snyder Sensory Garden Grant Fund by 11:59pm on December 1st, you are contributing to our ability to support the creation or expansion of sensory gardens that are open to the public, encourage inclusive design practices, and promote wellness and therapeutic experiences.
