Claire Splan, Associate Editor of The American Gardener, is taking us #BTS at this week’s California Spring Trials (CAST). The “Fashion Week for Plants,” CAST is an opportunity for growers to preview the plant introductions for the coming year. More to come in our The American Gardener magazine. How adorable is this little pineapple 'Mila' from Sunset/Southern Living Plants? Compact plants, perfect for containers with striking foliage in shades from orange to red to dark purple. The little fruits are ornamental but also edible. A little bit of the tropics for your patio! #CAST2023 #Sunset #SouthernLivingPlants #MilaPineapple
