For my final post I thought I’d share some harvest photos - the biggest reason we grow our own food. Of course there are many reasons to plant veggies: fresh air, exercise, and mental health, but I love being able to provide a year-round harvest to my family. I grow a wide assortment of vegetables but our absolute favourites are the tomatoes (Sungold and Lebanese Mountain), cucumbers (Lemon), cucumber melons (also called Armenian cucumbers), basil (all types and varieties!), cucuamelons (cute and tasty), and beans (Purple Peacock, Emerite, and Gold Marie).
