This weekend, our Phase 1 students will be moving back to Athens, and we know that many students in off-campus housing will be joining them. To keep our Bobcat and Athens communities safe by slowing the spread of COVID-19, returning students need to: - Keep 6 feet apart from each other (a little more than a two-seat couch) - Limit the number of people you are hanging out with in person to the same 6-10 people. Please save your house parties, bar crawls, and epic in-person study groups until it’s safe. - Wear masks when you are in public. (Athens has a mask ordinance, so wearing a face covering is required in public spaces or you’ll risk a $100 fine.) - Take the OHIO Pledge Even if you are typically healthy, these are important ways to keep people who may be at a higher risk safe. We’re lucky to have our community’s support, and we need to support them by making responsible decisions that will slow the spread of COVID-19.
