Excellence truly is magnetic. The other day, I experienced just how contagious it can be. I was on a casual run, just keeping my pace, when someone sprinted by, obviously pushing themselves. Watching them, I felt inspired, motivated to see if I could step it up too. They didn’t say a word, but their effort challenged me to give more than I thought possible when I started that day. This is why surrounding ourselves with excellence is so powerful. When we’re around people who raise the bar and challenge themselves, it brings out a higher level of drive within us too.
