I've said this before, but this year for the Believe Initiative has looked so different than what I anticipated! This time last year we were doing our final preparations and gearing up for our cross-country tour. Clearly that isn't happening this time around! So when it came time to reevaluate and figure out how we would move forward, we found a way to rework our existing content and turn it into something that would be just as effective virtually. The goal was not to simply do the exact same events online, but rather create a new format that students could connect to and engage with remotely. I'm pretty proud of how things turned out! Yesterday we had our first virtual Believe Summit with Grade 11 & 12 students from North Dundas District High School and I'm so excited for more to come this year! #believeinitiative #resilience #seehurdlesnotwalls #virtualsummit #believesummit #northdundas #believeteam #virtualworkshops uppercanadadsb believeinitiative
