This is a camcamlarsen appreciation post! (Don’t mind the old video.) For those of you who don’t know, I met Cameron a decade ago when Corner Canyon first opened. I was a brand new coach, and he was a young and energetic choreographer, and we have been inseparable since. He is not only a friend, but also a true partner in building this thing we call Corner Canyon Cheer. We see things differently, sometimes fight like crazy, but always find the perfect middle ground. Our visions and our love for these kids and this program always seem to meet exactly where they are supposed to, and I can’t imagine this team without him. I mean, in a decade I’ve only tried to fire him twice lol so I’d say we are doing pretty good! (I was emotional and he talked some sense into me both times!) He is the perfect balance for me, and we’ve both talked each other off of a ledge more times than I can count.
