Deputies patrolling Saugus observed a vehicle with expired registration. As they contacted the occupants of the vehicle, deputies observed drug paraphernalia on the male passenger. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine packaged in separate containers, contraband commonly used for narcotics sales, cocaine, and several access cards not named to the suspect. The male was arrested for identity theft, possession of a controlled substance for sales, and more. He was booked into the station and subsequently released on citation to appear in court at a later date.
