Smoke from wildfires collects between mountains in Canada’s Glacier National Park.
Canada’s summer wildfires burned an area larger than 104 of the world’s 195 countries and released 1.5 billion tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere—the equivalent of over 100 nations’ combined annual emissions.
