We have another great sensory activity to use up those Valentine’s Day Flowers! 🌹 Here are some smart activities thefairyglitchmother did with the flowers:
1. Sensory bottle (ideal for babies and toddlers) - if they can open bottles - GLUE the cap so there are no accidents 😜
2. Make “perfumes” - we added water, mixed petals and food coloring and poured into small bottles. (They didn’t “smell” much so my daughter asked to spray in some real perfume as well 😉)
3. Petal art - just add some glue to card and stick on petals and leafs. Here is a giant flower but you can create anything you like. Just get creative and have fun!
4. Sensory play (not in the video) - just throw the petals and leafs in a tray so they can play and experiment with them You can add rice for extra texture and fun! 🥰
We used our large tickit_education tray & measuring cup and funnel from learningresources 👩🏻🔬
