🌈RAINBOW COLOR MATCHING🌈 This activity is full of color and open-ended play opportunities! Here is how celenakinsey put it together:
"So for this, I dyed rice THREE ways! I made rainbow colors and lined all the colors up in a bin.
🏠 Then I added these sorting neighborhood homes (THESE ARE INCREDIBLE), and I added another bin of just Pom Poms. If you don't have these, add cups with colored paper on the bottom of them.
🌈 I added different neighborhood family members, but you could use Pom Poms and other colored items.
☁️ Prompt kids to collect all of the people (or Pom Poms) and sort them into the right homes. You can also work on counting Pom Poms while adding them to the right house as well. Don't be afraid to step back and just let kids' imagination take over. At one point, the houses became cake that he would fill repeatedly, and the Pom Poms were food for the dogs."
