Today is #NationalReptileAwarenessDay 🦎 Each year, on October 21st, people across the nation observe National Reptile Awareness Day. This day also promotes education, conservation, and appreciation for reptiles. We LOVE this Iguana Invitation to Play created by livethescottcottage ✨ Start with a conversation about reptiles and their habitats! Then, as little learners play, continue the conversation. Setting up invitations to play can be a simple way to ‘prompt' children to play in different ways with different materials. It can offer children the opportunity to direct their play, follow their interests, learn more about the world around them, express themselves creatively and use their imagination to extend upon the initial invitation! 📸: livethescottcottage . . . #preschoolactivities #openendedplay #imaginativeplay #montessoriinspired #montessori #montessoritoddler #everydayplayhacks #learningthroughplay #homeschoolpreschool #playmatters #montessoriathome #eyfs #simpleplay #waldo...
