We are hearing that there is a shortage of isopropyl alcohol currently. If you are having trouble finding it, Eastman recommends using distilled water to flush the slip solution off the film and surface where you need additional tack, then stretch and squeegee the film as normal. Eastman has also found that warming this water to 130F helps to promote adhesion, and recommends using a sous-vide cooker attached to a 5 gallon bucket filled partway with water to put your bottles in to maintain the desired 130F temperature. **Use care when handling, and do not exceed 130F as you could run the risk of burning yourself when handling the bottles.** There are other industry-proven techniques, that Eastman cannot currently endorse as we have not tested them, that several of our dealers have used with reported success: White Vinegar and Sparkle Glass Cleaner. Please add to this post if there are other industry proven techniques not listed.
