I have been to Matcha heaven 😍💚 We were invited to Xing Fu Tang in Birmingham’s Chinatown to check out their traditional Taiwanese drinks and the extra fluffy traditional japanese pancakes at Cha Cha roll. (Yep all in one visit - lucky us!) 🧋 My friend went for the traditional brown sugar boba milk which they make with the traditional method of stir-frying brown sugar. I went for the red bean taro matcha milk. They were both so good! My matcha was perfectly balanced, not too sweet! 🍵 Our favourite part of the trip was the pancakes, seemingly like a happy marriage between souffle and pancakes. I’ve been craving these ever since! SO good - and bonus points for the wobble! My friend had strawberry and pistachio I went for Matcha ofc! 🥞 We loved this little trip, the food was fun and delicious, the staff were so friendly and helped us figure out how to use the traditional fortune sticks, which was such a nice touch!
