It’s Friday so lets talk Wine! 🍷 I recently paid a visit to Loki wine store in Birmingham Western Arcade (also located in Edgbaston) I was hosting a small dinner for a few friends. I popped in told them what I was cooking, what I usually like and I was blown away by so much info and knowledge! (I felt so come dine with me!) They really… REALLY, no REAAALLY know their wine. 😎 💜 As I was cooking Morrocan lamb, the gentleman who took care of me recommended a chateaumusar 1998 (actually older than one of my guests haha) which comes from a place not far from morocco, where biblically jesus turned water into wine. Without even being a religious person I was sold by this point. It turned out to be perfect for the meal, full bodied, vibrant, mature and smooth with hints of spice, currants and tint of oak.
