Happy #StPatricksDay! . We're celebrating with this vibrant landscape from #JohnKane. Born to Irish parents in Scotland, Kane is known for his industrial landscapes (many featuring his eventual hometown, #Pittsburgh) that helped pave the way for American folk artists in mid-1900s. Having started his career working in the steel, coal, and railroad industries, Kane only gained success as a painter later in his life. .
