Our holiday display in the Hall of Architecture opens to the public tomorrow.

This year, the Women's Committee decorated the trees to match five favorite works from our collection. The trees frame another annual display: our Neapolitan presepio, or nativity scene, which features over 100 figurines made of terracotta, glass, cloth, wood, and wire-frame bodies. It shows the nativity set in a Neapolitan village and is the oldest public museum display of its kind in America.
