✨🖼📚 First stop: the #CarnegieLibrary in #Braddock, the first #CarnegieLibrary built in the US! We got to know its #artlendingcollection, walked through the beautiful basketball court under the roof, and visited the inspiring #neighborhoodprintshop and screenprinting lab 🎨 . . . This is stellamaris87 guest-posting for thecmoa for our day of visiting #pittsburghwithkoyo. . . . Preparing for her contribution to thecmoa 57th #CarnegieInternational, opening in October 2018, exhibition-maker #KoyoKouoh tours our museum and Pittsburgh. In collaboration with #UniversityofPittsburgh art historians, Koyo’s project #DigWhereYouStand will create an exhibition-within-in-an-exhibition drawing from the #CMOA collection. Kouoh is the founding artistic director of #RAWMaterialCompany (rawgram2011), a center for art, knowledge, and society in #Dakar, #Senegal.
