The reason you’re starting over today is because your approach doesn’t work
I’ve been there
Fighting with yourself all week
Just. Stay. Disciplined.
Then all of a sudden you get tempted
Tempted by going out to eat, tempted by the buffet of food at this weekends party, tempted by all the snacks especially if you’ve been drinking
You indulge
& then beat yourself up over it
Tell yourself you worked hard all week for nothing
That you need to be even stricter this upcoming week
That you have failed again
STOP REPEATING THE SAME CYCLE OVER & OVER AGAIN!
Being so strict throughout the week is what leads you to lose control on the weekends
Telling yourself you can’t have certain foods is what leads you to crave them
Restarting the same cycle every Monday is keeping you stuck in the same exact place
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result
Stop trying the same diet you couldn’t sustain
