An epic thank you to the Universal Orlando Resort fans from Universal Destinations & Experiences Chairman & CEO Mark Woodbury and the entire Universal Orlando family! Universal Epic Universe, set to debut on May 22, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, will become Universal Orlando Resort’s third theme park (and fourth overall) upon opening. Encompassing a 750-acre development, the park will be divided into five immersive lands—Celestial Park; Dark Universe; How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk; Super Nintendo World; and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. Groundbreaking began in August 2019, though construction timelines were pushed back by the COVID-19 pandemic.
