Save the date for the third annual Maryland Day of Giving, March 25, 2021. Help us celebrate Maryland Day — a statewide history holiday — by supporting the conservation and rehousing of nearly 100 flags and banners from the Maryland Center for History and Culture’s collection. These flags and banners once soared in the sky to celebrate victories, commemorate events, display pride, and fight for causes. Your donation will help ensure they are preserved for future generations to enjoy. Learn more about this fundraising effort by clicking on the Maryland Day Giving Challenge tab in our bio. Watch our social media pages in March as we share the stories behind many of the unique historic flags in our collection. #MarylandHistory #MDHistory #MarylandDay #HistoricFlags #FlagHistory #Flags
