Working on his impressive stamp collection has been a relaxing diversion during quarantine for Maryland Historical Society staffer Scott Rubin. “My collections, as well as time spent with my dog, have been an absolute opportunity for me to keep my mind on a task. It’s a lot of fun and most people are absolutely amazed when they see how interesting stamp art and collections actually are.” He’s even started an Instagram account called Cancelled_Stamps that highlights his collection. When writing about various therapeutic activities, Dr. William Rush Dunton himself called stamp collecting “the most interesting form of collecting because so much of romance, history, geography, etc., is associated with these bits of paper.” What’s helping you get through?
